What’s The Purpose?

Good Morning, Everyone,

This morning, I am sitting here looking out of my kitchen window at the snow! Tomorrow, January 26, will mark three weeks that we have had snow on the ground here in Central Indiana and to me it is still beautiful! It has been several years since we have had snow stick around this long and many people are tired of it. But I am sure there is a purpose for it staying on like it has. Yes, I am one of those folks who try to see the positive in things that others see as unpleasant, doing my best to always look for and hope for the best in everyone and everything! Does that make sense to you?

Just something as simple as having the snow on the ground for 3 weeks has given me the idea for this post. Not everyone can see the purpose of it and I may not fully understand it all but I do know it has a purpose!

I may not know or understand why things happen like they do or the purpose of the bad things that happen but I do know Someone who does and His Name Is Jesus! I also know that it is not easy going through sickness, death, poverty, or any tragedy but if you turn to Jesus, I promise you that He can and will help you through your times of trials and tribulations! You may not always know the purpose for what you are going through but If you seek Him, He will help you have peace with what is happening in your life.

Today, my purpose is to help someone have a better understanding and hopefully, increase your trust in Jesus! Here are a couple of scriptures for you to read and think about.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

John 16: 33 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Have a great weekend! Hope to be back soon! With Love, Jill
