Happy Spring 2024!

We are very happy to be welcoming our first week of Spring 2024 here in Central Indiana! The Lord blest us with another mild Winter, which we are so thankful for. We have already had 3 edible size stalks of asparagus and more coming up daily. Since I sampled the first ones, (and they were delicious), Irvin will get the next ones! It looks like he will be having a lot more, the way they are all coming up. It is hard to believe we planted them 3 years ago. Time sure does fly by!

Much has been accomplished over the last year and still so much more to be done! We recognize this time of the year as a time for planting seed and new life coming forth. But we can’t forget that in some places it is a time for harvesting. In the Kingdom of God, we should always look for opportunities to plant “good seed” and be willing to “labor in His harvest”.

Matthew 9:35-38 New King James Version

The Compassion of Jesus

35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

With Resurrection Sunday quickly approaching, I am reminded more and more of the compassion Jesus has on us all! When I think how He laid down His life for me, for a wretched sinner, tears fill my eyes, love for Him fills my heart and all I want to do is praise Him and thank Him! The older I get the more I appreciate this life He has given me. We truly live a Blest Life! Not because of anything we have done on our own but because of everything Jesus has done for us! He has given us new life and the ability to tell others just how much He loves them, too!

As we continue through the rest of this year, planting and harvesting, May we all take time to plant “good seeds” in those who are needing to hear about Jesus so that a great soul harvest will take place before the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Remember, you can have a Blest Life, too! Jesus Is The Only Answer! Do you know Him?

If you want to send us a message we will be glad to share more of our story with you!

Hope to be back soon!
